Chen Jingming

 Chen Jingming

1982' graduate of NUIST, PhD of University of Reading, internationally outstanding expert on geographic remote sensing, and senior researcher in Canada Centre for Remote Sensing, Professor of Toronto University, visiting professor of York University and Ottawa University, Changjiang Visiting Professor of Nanjing University and director of Academic Committee of Institute of Geosciences in Nanjing University, and member of Overseas Consultants of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office under the State Council of the People's Republic of China. In 2000, he got the outstanding scientific research reward, awarded by Governor of Ontario. In 2004, he was elected as Canadian Senior Scientific Research Presider.
