About Us

The School of Public Administration was established in 2006, on the base of the former Research Sectionof Marxism-Leninism, Section of Social Sciences, Deparment of Public Administration and the Department of Law.The school provides three majors for college students and professional degree education of MPA. 43 professional teachers and 505 students work in the school.

62 percent of teaching staff in the school have senior professional titles and 29.2 percent teachers have overseas working expeirence. All of young teachers have doctor’s degree. There are also 5 part-time oversea professors from Great Britain, USA, Italy etc. Some of the teachers are candidates of “a group of five”, “blue project”and “333 high level tenlents”and other acedemic supporting projects.

Following the School principle of “Respecting morality and law, Appreciating learning and practice”, we devote ourselves to educate students to be elits with international mind and practical skills. The students who are keen to think and practice have participated in many competitions and received remarkable outcomes, including National Challenge Cup Competition of College Student，National University Student Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction, Jiangsu Challenge Cup Competition of College Students, China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition, Global Chinese Youth Literature, etc. Students of SPM also undertook many national and provincial innovation projects. Undergraduate dissertation of students have rewarded the first prize continuously for many years. Over 2400 students have graduated from the school since the establishment and 98 percent of them were employed in quality jobs.
