Research Interests:
I jointed Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology as a professor in October 2007. He was graduated from the Department of mechanics in Tianjin University, where he obtained his master degree in March 1990 and doctor degree in June 1998. During the period from September 1998 to December 2000, he did postdoctoral research at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Since 1987, Professor Lu has been conducting research in the areas of flow stability theory, theory of turbulence, environmental mechanics, numerical method and direct numerical simulation. He has been awarded over 30 major research projects by national funding bodies, including the national Ministry of science and technology nine-five climbing plan preselected projects, National Natural Science Funded projects, Ministry of science and technology 863 projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China research projects, PhD programs fund projects of institution of higher education (Ministry of Education), Jiangsu Province Natural Science Fund projects, Ministry of Water Resources funded preliminary researches, special projects, and transverse cooperation of science and technology projects. He has published over sixty papers in high-level academic journals, such as Science in China, Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Acta Aerodynamica Sinica, Progress in Natural Science, Chinese Journal of Computational Physics, Acta Aeronautica Et Astronautica Sinica, Journal of Hydrodynamics and so on. He also took part in national and international academic conferences for more than thirty times, and received achievements in aspects of flow stability theory, the formation of turbulence, the production mechanism and numerical methods of coherent structure and the environmental mechanics.
