Volunteer Activities

By sprinkling sweats during services and sowing hopes during dedication, the young volunteers of our university have become a mobile landscape. In the form of a voluntary teaching contingent entitled “hand in hand”, the young volunteers of our university went to schools for children of migrant workers to offer such voluntary services as voluntary teaching and “bringing warmth to” families living in difficulties. They devoted their hard work and sweats and harvested smiles and praises during various events on campus including on-campus job fair and on-campus sports meet and such off-campus voluntary-service activities as National Games in the Meteorological Industry, the reconstruction after Wenchuan Earthquake, WMO International Conference, Shanghai World Expo, and the Seventh National College/University “President Cup” Table Tennis Match. Students of our university are carrying out the voluntary service spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress” with their practical actions.
